We are presently seeking applications from qualifed individuals who are interested in working with our organization
in both full-time & term capacities in various remote settings for our Atlantic Canada, Western Canada and International Operations.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL PHYSICIAN
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Licensed to practice medicine in the respective province;
- Member in good standing with the respective Provincial Board;
- Two or more years Emergency Room experience;
- General Practice experience
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Two or more years Occupational Health and Disability Management experience and/or Certification in Occupational Medicine;
- Diving Medical Experience/Certification
OFFSHORE NURSE/PARAMEDIC
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- 2 to 3 years experience as an acute care Registered Nurse or Paramedic;
- Currently registered in the respective province;
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS);
- Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS);
- Computer Literacy
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous offshore/remote experience;
- BST;
- Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) training;
- WHMIS training/WHMIS "Train the Trainer";
- Previous Occupational Health Experience
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in an Occupational Health Setting;
- Canadian Certified in Occupational Health Nursing COHN(C);
- Currently registered in the respective province;
- Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing or Certification;
- Audiology Certification;
- Spirometry Certification;
- Proven communication & management skills;
- Computer literacy;
- Valid driver's license
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in injured worker rehabilitation/return to work(RTW)Programs;
- Ability to handle a diverse client caseload within a multidisciplinary team;
- Good working knowledge of the relevant provincial WCB system;
- Certification or post secondary training in Disability Case Management;
- A proven track record in positive disability case management outcomes
